Vancouver police Const. Ismail Bhabha has avoided a criminal record after his videotaped punch was seen across Canada.

In 2013, he slugged a Vancouver Andishae Akhavan-Kharazi in the face.

It came after the cyclist was arrested for riding without a helmet.

Bhabha was convicted of assault. Today, he received a conditional discharge. He must serve six months on probation and perform 15 hours of community service.
