A jury has found two men guilty of manslaughter in the horrific death of 19-year-old Langara student Manraj Akalirai in January 2013.

Amritpal Dhillon and Amritpaul Rakhra were both involved in a confrontation with another group of young men.

It ended in the near beheading of the teen in a front yard on Elgin Street.

Evidence was presented in court that Rakhra hit Akalirai with a golf club and Dhillon delivered a fatal blow with a samurai sword.

The two men have not yet been sentenced.
