The Vancouver police are on the lookout for a Vancouver man who sucker-punched another man outside Pub 340 last August.

The 49-year-old victim suffered a head injury and a brain bleed, but has since recovered.

Today, the VPD released video of the incident, which shows that the suspect is a 5'10 aboriginal man in his 30s.

He was in a black jacket with the word "Headrush" on the back when the assault occurred outside the Cambie Street bar.

“This was a cowardly act by someone with no regard for the consequences of his actions,” VPD constable Brian Montague said in a news release. “One punch can have a life-altering outcome for the victim, their family, and the attacker.”

Late last month, Montague told reporters that there have been 10 sucker punches thrown in Vancouver this year around bars and nightclubs in various parts of the city.
