The remainder of this week will see some very high tides around Vancouver.

But the highest of all is forecast for 8:36 a.m. on Wednesday (January 13).

That's when it will reach 4.97 metres.

The sandbags are out around Locarno Beach. We'll soon find out if they'll be sufficient to keep the water at bay.
