There's been another violent sexual attack in Vancouver.

Around 11 p.m. on Friday (March 18), a woman was assaulted by a stranger around Oak Street and West 48th Avenue.

She fought off her assailant and he disappeared. The woman was not injured.

The suspect is described at 5'8" to 5'10" with a medium build.

Police cannot say if this attack is linked to two other assaults in the Oakridge area earlier this year.

The most recent was around 7 p.m. on February 4, when a 67-year-old woman was punched in the face and head on West 42nd Avenue.

The other attack occurred near Langara–49th Station on January 23 when a woman was pushed to the ground.

Meanwhile, New Westminster police are investigating two sex crimes that occurred on March 17. A 5'8" man in his mid to late 20s with a goatee pulled a woman's pants down at a bus stop on Howes Street around 5:30 p.m. A half hour later, a man with a similar description exposed himself to a woman in her vehicle.
