Vancouver–Point Grey NDP MLA David Eby has once again demonstrated why he's a star performer in question period.

In the video below, the new Opposition critic for TransLink took aim at Peter Fassbender, who's one of the more clever members of Christy Clark's cabinet.

Fassbender's responsibilities include TransLink.

Eby pointed out that Fassbender has expressed a lack of knowledge on everything from TransLink board compensation to bus-service levels to HandyDart service to audits of Translink to transit police.

"He didn't even know what the ridership numbers were for TransLink," Eby said with a slight smile.

Then Eby asked why Fassbender is even collecting a cabinet salary, given how little he knows about his portfolio.
