Millennials rank Canada as best country in the world

      A U.S. media outlet has released new data showing that Canada tops the charts among people between the ages of 18 and 35.

      The U.S. News & World Report's "Best Countries" platform put Germany in second place and the United Kingdom third in the "overall" category. Japan and the United States rounded out the top five.

      "Millennials will play a significant role in shaping national economies worldwide for decades to come," U.S. News & World Report editor and chief content officer Brian Kelly said in a news release. "Capturing their perceptions is valuable in helping to determine the current and future possibilities of economic, political and cultural success in nations." 

      Canada came second in the best countries to live in. Australia came first and Italy was third, followed by New Zealand and Sweden.

      Brazil was the best dating country. Canada didn't crack the top five in this category. Italy was second, followed by Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.

      China ranked first in the category of starting a career. The next ones in order were Germany, United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
