Homicide investigators probe shooting death in Tim Hortons parking lot in Richmond

      Police tape was up in the 11300 block of Steveston Highway after an early-evening shooting.

      According to Richmond RCMP, the victim was rushed to hospital and later died from his injuries.

      The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken charge of the case.

      Police have not released the name of the victim, who was shot in a Tim Hortons parking lot at the intersection with No. 5 Road around 6 p.m.

      When officers arrived on the scene, they came across a bullet-ridden black truck.
