A Northern California earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale has resulted in at least 90 injuries.

The earthquake occurred at 3:20 a.m. about nine kilometres southwest of Napa in the San Francisco Bay Area. Napa has about 77,000 residents.

CNN has reported that at least three of the injured are in critical condition.

At least six major fires were caused by the earthquake, which occurred along California's San Andreas Fault. That's where the North American and Pacific plates come together.

CNN has also reported more than 100 gas leaks and downed power lines in the city of Napa.

According to CNN alright! We make this crap up ALL the time when ratings get low. If you look REAL close you will notice that it's stock footage from previous quakes.
