Vancouver Porsche driver trashes vehicle with world's worst parking job

No one condones a hit and run. So it's reassuring when karma catches up with those who flee the scene.

On June 22 a clip went up on YouTube showing someone attempting to fit a white Porsche SUV into a Vancouver garage. Most of us would be careful when dealing with a vehicle that costs a down payment on a house in Vancouver.

The driver's primary concern, however, seems to be getting the Porsche parked at any cost.

That the front right wheel is already horribly trashed before he makes his first assault on the garage is an early tip-off that he might have had an ulterior motive for being in a hurry. And sure enough, after the video was posted, the clip caught the attention of Vancouver police.

VPD spokeman Const. Brian Montague has revealed that the 16-year-old driver of the vehicle was suspected to be involved in a hit-and-run earlier in the week on West 36th Avenue. The driver reportedly didn't have a licence and fled the scene.

The clip helped police track down the vehicle believed to be responsible for the hit-and-run.

As for the driver, Jesus Christ man—when you hear the first scrape pulling into a garage, you get out of the vehicle. You don't stomp on the gas pedal. Had you taken driver's education instead of learning everything you know on Atari's Test Drive Unlimited....
