3.2-magnitude earthquake hits northeast of Coquitlam

      A small earthquake hit the Lower Mainland yesterday.

      Around 5:45 p.m. on July 16, a 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck 28 kilometres northeast of Coquitlam, near Pitt Lake, at a depth of 0.8 kilometres, according the U.S Geological Survey.

      Although some residents reported feeling the quake, no damage or injuries were reported.
