Beginning at 5 p.m. tonight, you won't need any money to get on the local transit system.

That's because TransLink is once again providing free service on New Year's Eve until 5 a.m.

The transportation authority's trip planner will help those unfamiliar with bus routes.

The final SkyTrain on the last Expo line leaves Waterfront Centre at 2:16 a.m.

The last free Canada Line to the airport leaves Waterfront Station at 2:05 a.m.; there's another Canada Line leaving Waterfront Station at 2:15 that terminates at Richmond-Brighouse Station.

The final SeaBus leaves Lonsdale Quay at 2 a.m.; the last SeaBus going to the North Shore leaves Waterfront Station at 2:20.

West Coast Express has its final run at 6:20 p.m.
