Nine arrests after shots fired at hotel in South Surrey

      Surrey Mounties had a busy time this morning after gunfire broke out on the southern part of the city.

      The force tweeted that there were nine arrests after shots were fired outside the Pacific Inn Resort & Conference Centre at 1160 King George Highway.

      According to the RCMP, there was only one "minor" injury, which was caused by broken glass.

      The incident occurred early this morning.
