Grouse Mountain opens today for skiing and snowboarding

      At 9 a.m. on Saturday (November 26), the Peak of Vancouver will welcome the first skiers and boarders of the season.

      Grouse Mountain Resorts is opening Paradise Bowl (via the Greenway Chair) and Heaven's Sake (via the Peak Chair).

      It will also be possible for hikers to strap on their showshoes for the Snowshoe Grind.

      This marks the 90th year of winter skiing on Grouse Mountain.

      It's possible to reach the base of the mountain via the 236 Grouse Mountain bus, which leaves Lonsdale Quay.

      Cypress Mountain opened for skiing and snowboarding on higher-elevation runs on Friday (November 25).
