Police identify burnt body of woman found in North Vancouver

      The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has identified the burnt remains of a person whose body was found in North Vancouver in November.

      The remains of 41-year-old Lisa Dawn MacPherson were found on November 28 at a shelter on the Bridgman North Trail, in a wooded area next to Lynn Creek.

      She was 5'4" and about 130 pounds with shoulder-length blond hair and blue eyes.

      She was last seen in North Vancouver on November 24.

      Investigators are trying to determine the sequence of events that led up to her death. The cause of death has not been revealed yet.
