Once again, a winter snowfall is creating havoc for Metro Vancouver transit users.

TransLink has reported that Canada Line trains cannot travel between Bridgeport Station and Marine Drive Station.

"Shuttle trains are running from Waterfront to Marine Dr, from Bridgeport to YVR, and from Bridgeport to Brighouse," the transportation authority states on its website. "A bus bridge is being out in place to run between Marine Dr Stn and Bridgeport Stn."

      In addition, service delays are occurring along the following Vancouver bus routes: 5 Robson/Downtown, 6 Davie/Downtown, 8 Fraser/Downtown, 20 Victoria/Downtown 41/43 Joyce/UBC, and 49 Metrotown/UBC.

      On the North Shore, the following routes are seeing service delays: 210 Upper Lynn Valley/Vancouver, 211 Seymour/Vancouver, 229 Lynn Valley/Lonsdale, 230 Upper Lonsdale/Quay, 232 Grouse/Phibbs, and 236 Grouse/Lonsdale.

Transit users have been advised to dress warmly in case there are service delays along their bus routes.
