(Update: At 1:46 p.m., TransLink announced that the Canada Line has resumed full train service to Vancouver International Airport.)

Technical problems are affecting the Canada Line this morning.

TransLink says that service between Bridgeport Station and Vancouver International Airport has been interrupted.

Transportation authority spokesperson Chris Bryan told CBC Radio this morning that there is ice on the power rails.

Shuttle buses are transporting people between Bridgeport Station and YVR.

Trains are running smoothly on the rest of the Canada Line between Waterfront Station and Richmond-Brighouse Station.

Every second southbound train is stopping at Marine Drive Station.

Meanwhile, poor road conditions on University Boulevard have resulted in bus detours to UBC's Point Grey campus.

The 99 UBC is turning left on Blanca Street and entering the campus via West 16th Avenue to Wesbrook Village. From there, it travels to UBC Loop.

The 4/14 bus is terminating at Blanca Street. UBC-bound passengers are advised to get off at Sasamat Street and transfer onto the 99 bus to reach the UBC Point Grey campus.

The Expo and Millennium lines are operating normally.
