CBC News reported that three men are in hospital in serious condition following a fight in the Granville Entertainment District.

Police arrested two people after the three were stabbed on the west side of the 900 block of Granville Street around 3 a.m.

There's usually a heavy police presence in the early-morning hours on this block, which has more than 1,300 licensed liquor seats.

Update: Vancouver police issued a news release saying two groups were involved in a "verbal altercation" inside the Caprice Nightclub and were asked to go outside. Once they left the club, the fight began.

“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed what led up to the stabbing inside the Caprice, or anyone who may have obtained cell-phone video, to contact the Vancouver Police at 604-717-2541 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477,” the VPD stated.
