Nobody injured in Kerrisdale fire that damages several businesses
A fire near the corner of Maple Street and West 41st Avenue in Vancouver has set back the dreams of several entrepreneurs.
According to firefighters, nobody was injured in the blaze, which caused serious damage to several businesses.
It left a thick haze of smoke in Kerrisdale last night.
Among those that bore the brunt of the fire was MagiCream Ice Cream Lab, which opened last year at 2009 West 41st Avenue.
Image Hair Design, On The Go Fashion, Petit C Nail + Lash Salon, and a Salvation Army thrift store are also in the block.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
