Living in downtown Vancouver used to be pretty cheap. Not any more, especially among those with presidential tastes.

If you want proof of that, consider that the price of a one-year-old condo in the 63-storey Trump tower has just been listed at a whopping $3,160 per square foot.

      Yes indeed, $6,688,000 for a 2,117-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo on the 60th floor.

The listing agent, John Ng, points out that the unit comes with two ensuites, concierge and Rolls-Royce car service, and direct access to the hotel's amenities.

There's only one potential downside for a buyer with money to burn: protests.

That's right. The Trump tower occasionally attracts folks who disagree with the Donald's ideas. And they like gathering on the street out front to show their displeasure.

While it's good news for U.S. consular staff over at 1095 West Pender Street, it's not always a blessing for the building's occupants.
