Burrard Bridge closed as police investigate West End shooting

Vancouver police say they have temporarily shut down the Burrard Bridge after stopping a vehicle that appeared to have bullet holes.

The traffic stoppage came after West End residents called in reports of gunshots around the 1100 block of Jervis Street this afternoon (September 18).

Police responded and found shell casings in an alley.

"Early indications are that this was a targeted attack, no suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing," Const. Brian Montague, a police spokesperson, said in a statement.

Glad I live in Surrey and not crime-infested Vancouver.
