Loud pipes provoke some extremely loud gripes

In response to Ted Laturnus’s article, if safety were really such a concern of his, he wouldn’t be riding a motorcycle [“ Loud pipes irritate, but enhance riders’ safety”, August 23-30]. The noble choice would be to accept the risk in favour of consideration of your fellow human beings.
