Part of Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Surrey campus was evacuated this morning (September 17) due to a suspicious object.
The Birch building and the south wing of the Cedar building were emptied, according to a tweet from Global B.C.
The Runner, Kwantlen's student newspaper, reported on Twitter that both buildings were behind police tape.
Meanwhile, excited students took to social media to share their thoughts about the incident.
Parts of Kwantlen evacuated and classes cancelled due to suspicious package. But not my class. Hrmph.
