UBC to launch new undergrad program on global economics
The University of B.C. has announced it will launch a new undergraduate degree program for students interested in studying global economic issues.
UBC plans to expand its economics department to create the new Vancouver School of Economics and begin offering a four-year Bachelor of International Economics degree.
The expansion will add more than 300 spaces for economics students and bring in around 10 academics, UBC said in a news release today (December 5).
Annual tuition fees for domestic students will be $7,672 and for international students they will be $27,731.
The new program is slated to start in September 2013.

I forgot, these degrees require people with brains.
