The 86-year-old British monarch and her husband, 90-year-old Prince Philip, were on the Spirit of Chartwell.

They were joined by other members of the Royal Family, including Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince Harry. London mayor Boris Johnson was also onboard the vessel.

Approximately 1.2 million people lined the banks of the river to watch the event.

Good for her / them.

But really can we grow up and grow a pair?

Imagine the Healthcare and Education that could be given with the savings from eliminating both the Queen and bureaucracy from our Government structure.

We do not need Kings and Queens in 21st Century Canada.

Let our Canadian Citizens swear an oath to Canada not the old bag and her progeny.

Oh yeah take her mug of our money her currency is in free fall and her little Island bankrupt.

Constitutional Monarchy is the highest form of democratic society in the world. Having a head of state that rises above the petty political bickering of the day makes for a stronger nation and a more prosperous society.
