Former Vanoc CEO John Furlong has hit back at the serious claims made by former students in an investigative report published by the Georgia Straight.

Furlong held a news conference today (September 27), hours after the story came to light.
Along with his lawyer Marvin Storrow, Furlong read a prepared statement but did not take questions from the dozens of journalists in attendance.

Apparently they were trying to make contact with Mr. Furlong during the olympics however did not push the issue.
I applaud them for having the patience to wait until well after the olympics so as not to 'tarnish the games.'
