Maybe it's all the rain we get here in B.C. that makes people think more about taking care of their hair.

Whatever the case, for some reason, six of the twelve finalists for the reality TV competition Superstar Hair Challenge II are from B.C.

(Four are from Ontario. One is from Alberta, and one is from Nova Scotia. None are from Quebec, which is surprising. Perhaps though they are competing in French-language TV shows.)

The B.C. finalists include:
• Ceilidh Costello, 19, from Vancouver
• Anthony Crossfield, 42, from Vancouver
• Ross Kwan, 20, from Vancouver
• Kelli Chan, 34, from Burnaby
• Dave Arter, 26, from Victoria
• Brian Dubinsky, 41, from Nanaimo

The show will be hosted by Robert Gage and being on May 6 on Slice TV.
