Subtitled The Everything Food + Kitchen Show, it brings together some notable chefs and cookbook authors, among them Rob Feenie, Karen Barnaby--whose new The Passionate Cook (Whitecap, $24.95) just hit the stores--and Krishna Jamal of Rubina Tandoori. Experts on organic wines, fair-trade coffee beans, and low carbs will join nutritionists against a backdrop of gourmet-food displays and competitions; there will also be a chance to taste, and sip, the creativity of local restaurants, vintners, and brewers. Admission is $10; seniors, $8 (Friday only); kids six to 14, $5; younger ones, free. Donating a nonperishable food item to the Union Gospel Mission Food Bank Bus (by the main gate) gets you a $2 discount on the $10 ticket.
