FTP Instructions

This document provides step-by-step instructions on how to upload files to The Georgia Straight FTP site using Windows Explorer.

The instructions are based on a computer using Microsoft Windows XP, using no additional software other than the software/interface installed on any Windows XP computer (Windows Explorer is used as the FTP Client).

Instructions

1. Click on the Start button, click Run

2. Type in ftp.straight.com in area beside ”˜Open’, click OK

3. When prompted with a Username and Password, enter the information shown below:

User name: guestclients
Password: guest

4. It is then possible to simply copy and paste your artwork files into Windows Explorer to be collected and used by the Production department.
