Métis woodcarver and artisan Calihou is passionate about connecting to his heritage to build cultural footprints that were hard to find during his youth. Each of his “places to sit” connect to Métis culture. They are places to gather, share stories, and ask questions. His work creates opportunities to educate and connect with Métis culture.
