Northern Voice blogging conference is almost sold out
Just four days after registration opened for 2009's Northern Voice, tickets for the personal blogging and social media conference are almost all gone.
According the two-day conference's registration page at Eventbrite, the 300 tickets for February 21, which will feature 20 talks by bloggers and social-media experts, have sold out.
A few $40 tickets are still available for Moose Camp, whose agenda is left up to attendees, on February 20.
Among the speakers scheduled for February 21 are Airdrie Miller (Breaking Stigma and Healing Mental Illness Through Blogging), Darren Barefoot (From Permalink to Profound: Where Is the Art in Social Media?), and Kate Trgovac and Rosemary Rowe (Social Media Mores for the Modern Couple).
The fifth annual event will take place at UBC's Forestry Sciences Centre (2424 Main Mall).
Those without tickets will certainly be able to follow the conference's proceedings on numerous blogs, photo-streams, and Twitter feeds.
