New video voices concerns over private power ahead of election

Save Our Rivers Society has released a new three-minute video by filmmaker Damien Gillis and narrated by broadcaster and spokesperson Rafe Mair, titled “B.C.’s Watershed Election”. The video speaks out against Premier Gordon Campbell’s private power policy and outlines the negative effects that private power can have on British Columbians and the environment.

Gillis and Mair will be touring the province in the upcoming months and speaking about why the upcoming provincial elections are the time for B.C. residents to voice their concerns over the future of our rivers and energy security.

They will appear at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival and the Social Justice Film Festival.
