Video: Medal-worthy flashmob strikes Olympic crowd in Vancouver
Saturday (February 13) saw downtown Vancouver’s Robson Street struck by a massive flashmob. The outburst of song and dance held the Olympic pedestrian corridor fascinated for several minutes before dissipating as quickly as it appeared. An estimated 1,500 people participated.
According to a media release, the performance was organized by imagine1day, a Vancouver-based network founded by Chip Wilson, founder of Lulu Lemon Athletics, and his wife, Shannon.
Imagine1day aims to bring primary education to all children in Ethiopia by 2020.

Nice dancing.....but - why should they vote? What difference does it make? Whoever you vote for, the people the international banking elite vote for get in. Until we get a proportional voting system, diverse free press, and electoral finance reform, voting is just a legitimization of an empty ritual to keep the populace asleep to the fact that they live in a corporatocracy, and that they know nothing of substance about what is really going on, what is coming down the pipe, and who is really making the decisions.

It seems like you're under the impression that these are anti-Olympics protesters or something. Not the case.

"I wonder how many of these people will bother to vote"
I don't see any logical connection. Why are you creating a negative drama with your question? I would assume that most people you see dancing here vote. Why wouldn't they? Keep your drama to yourself.

On the same day that anti-Olympic protesters damaged public property and therefore clouded their plethora of "messages", I proudly danced front and center of this flash mob. To any critics out there, as usual you're over thinking this and you missed out on an incredible event. For those of us who participated in a collective expression of peace, unity, and harmless fun for 2:47 mins, we experienced something unforgettable.
