A trip to VanDusen Botanical Garden means much more than checking out the late-summer flora. Prepare to search out almost 300 pieces of stone sculpture shipped here directly from Zimbabwe. It’s all part of the second ZimSculpt exhibit at the park, with sculptors Passmore Mupindiko and Patrick Sephani on site, creating art out of stones from their home country. Zimbabwe is recognized as being home to some of the greatest stone carvers in the world, and VanDusen is the show’s only North American stop on its global tour. The show runs until September 26.
