Festival at Finlandia

Several organizations are teaming up for a breast-cancer awareness benefit at Finlandia Natural Pharmacy & Health Centre (1111 West Broadway) on Friday (September 17). The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., features breast-cancer information sessions, live music with Linx on the Sax (Lincoln Thorne), refreshments at the Vega Bar, 10 different booths, and a silent auction of artistic works. Five percent of all sales at Finlandia that day will go to Keep a Breast Foundation, which promotes the prevention of breast cancer.
