If no other media organization picks this up, I'd say we are in a lot more trouble than I had previously thought. These actions could be criminal and deserve an investigation.

Well, well gordo caught dipping into the public trough! What else is new? What I would like so see now that we, the people of BC paid for, is the agenda and what was discussed and the secretarys notes. Just what is so important to them?

Years ago, you could only get about one quarter of folks to support any type of conspiracy - its moved up to 40% - Campbell's legacy -- the media -- our government in BC (Canada too) puts the whole argument of whether the whole shooting match isn't rigged up for grabs.

As someone who has invested alot of time and $$$$ in the political industry - this is long past creepy.

The fact that Campbell wouldn't bother to cover this off and pay it as Mansbridge (CBC commentator and pastor) did - reveals how easy and relaxed he is in an absolute state of corruption.

Recalls need to have town halls -- to rev up recruits---this story is one of a number that ought to make the soldiers salivate.

After reading this the recalls can't come fast enough. Aren't there laws against things like this?

I don't know... If leaders are conspiring nefariously, it would be pretty stupid and dangerous NOT to attend, as you wouldn't know what they are up to. I'm amused by how much people presume to know about an event they say no-one really knows much about, and how easily the same claims about it are reproduced without questioning of those claims.

Imagine that (a) there is some kind of terrible conspiracy going on against our interests, (b) Campbell was invited, (c) he turned it down, and then (d) some time after the conference, one of the participants turned traitor on the conspiracy and "revealed" the secrets when he or she couldn't deal with the guilt associated with an unstoppable, terrible plan that had just been begun by the power elites, one that would affect the lives of British Columbians directly and (e) it then became public knowledge that Campbell had been invited but decided not to go.
My bet is you'd all be screaming about how irresponsible he was, and how it was all therefore all his fault.

and an extra sigh, because I can predict people will dislike me stating the obvious (but have no clue why politicians don't value their opinions...)

10 votes I have a difficult time understanding how Campbell received 46% in the last general election -- what hand (if any) did Campbell's federal Conservative counterparts -- in former BC Conservative and longtime oil and gas man Wilf Hanni -- running candidates in Northeast ridings only?

All in is it possible that many centre right voters in British Columbia are simply too greedy and/or too gullible? Where will former BC Liberal voters go -- now that they cannot stand the party? I'll bet 25% will not vote in the next provincial election.

The more negatives British Columbians here -- Fight HST --Anti--HST We Hate -- this or that thing -- Recall -- why do we hate him/her --- Referendum --- on HST ---- cost $200 million dollars ---What????

If Richard Perle was involved with this conference, that must mean that this trip is all part of the 9/11 plot?

I heard a rumour out today - this one is powerful - its from a very good source--that the BC Liberal government has already developed its referendum question on the HST in con-sultan-tation with their hand picked fella Craig James of Elections Campbell BC - imagine they never told us of the name change--

The proposed question for the referendum is this: Even though the HST is hated and loathed by most of you, are you still reasonably happy to be alive? Yes No

I don't know for sure, but I don't think British Columbians are going to accept this.
