Macleans changes the title of "Too Asian?" article to "The enrollment controversy"
In the wake of a public pummelling, Macleans magazine has changed the title of a controversial article for a second time.
Initially entitled "Too Asian", the piece focused on anxieties about the number of students of Asian descent on some university campuses, including the University of British Columbia.
The magazine later added a question mark, so the title became "Too Asian?".
Now, the article has been renamed again to "The enrollment controversy".
The move came after Victoria city council passed a motion to write a letter to Macleans expressing concern for the article's title and that "some of the content may be perceived as racist in nature".
Tetsuro Shigematsu created this video in response to the Macleans article formerly known as "Too Asian".

wtf? We're now paying politicians to hold hearings on whether or not they should write letters to a magazine?

What's in a name? A rose is a rose is a rose...
Maclean's still smells bad.
And Tetsuro Shigamatsu might have a Japanese name, and was born in London England... and raised in Canada but he really sounds Canadian.... so he must be Canadian, right?

Is the editor of Macleans, or those who wrote the controversial article is/are native Canadian?
Asians are neither invaders nor baggers; rather someone like the editor of Macleans is there with Canadian flag in hands, to say WELCOME to the Asians, when they move to Canada for the first time.
The beauty of Canada is its diversity, and “racist elements” of any color, origin, culture should not try to destroy this diversity.

The issue is that most "Hongers" choose not to assimilate into society. They exude an air of superiority. Being "Asian" myself I can unequivocally say that Hong Kong was and is far more racist and intolerant than Canada. In HK culture we are taught that we are a superior race and look down upon others.
