After anchoring the show for almost a decade, Bill Good and Pamela Martin will be leaving CTV News at Six at the end of the year.

CTV British Columbia announced today (December 7) that a new anchor team for the program will be named on Wednesday (December 8).

“This is something that Bill and I have been considering since the end of the Olympic Games,” Martin said in a press release. “For me, it was an appropriate time to reflect on the future and decide what I want to do next.”

According to CTV, Good will return as a guest analyst for coverage of events such as leadership conventions and elections.

“Tomorrow is a significant birthday for me,” Good said in the release. “After some reflection with my family, I think it’s time to lighten my workload and focus exclusively on my radio show.”

Good is the host of The Bill Good Show on CKNW and has been a broadcaster for more than 25 years.

Martin has been in broadcasting since 1975 and was BCTV's first female six-o'clock news anchor.

Sounds like Harper has his next two Senate appointees.
Too bad Bill isn't retiring from his job as Campbell shill!
As for Pamela, she had some conscience when she was young, but I don't see much of it left.
I hope I'm wrong about the Senate.

It amazes me that those who do not hear their exact point of views, place their head in the sand and place labels on people. Open your eyes and ears, and try to expand your focus. Bill Good does a wonderful job of presenting balance. I may not always agree with him, but I have heard him on many occasions present the arguement for the left. What his personal beliefs are make no difference, to me, I just want to have an open dialogue and I feel he allows the listener and viewer that oppurtunity.

Bill Good is a parrot for the BC Liberals. He doesn't seem to have a problem with lies and corruption if its the BC Liberals. He's in panic mode now that Carole James has gottten the heave ho.
