Fans of writer-producer Tim Burton's 1993 animated masterpiece, The Nightmare Before Christmas, will get the opportunity to see their favourite bonedaddy, Jack Skellington (voiced by Chris Sarandon), on the big screen this Friday (December 17).

The Rio Theatre near Broadway and Commercial is offering a midnight screening of the Henry Selick-directed film, which was nominated for an Oscar for visual effects.

Tickets are $8, but only $7 if you come in costume, so start sewing.

But if you've already seen The Nightmare Before Christmas so many times that you know every line to every song Skellington sings—via the voice of soundtrack king Danny Elfman—you may want to opt instead for a viewing of another effects-based film, Tron: Legacy, which opens at the Rio on Friday (December 17), with daily showings at 1:30, 4, 6:45, and 9:30 p.m.
