Marc Emery aids B.C. NDP leadership candidate Dana Larsen from behind bars

Being locked up in a U.S. federal prison in Georgia isn’t stopping Vancouver’s Prince of Pot, Marc Emery, from helping marijuana-legalization activist Dana Larsen campaign for the NDP leadership.

According to Emery’s wife, Jodie Emery, people who want to sign up to officially support Larsen can do so at Emery’s Cannabis Culture Headquarters (307 West Hastings Street). “We’re encouraging people to join the NDP to vote for him,” Jodie Emery told the Straight by phone. “We have membership forms in our store and posters for him.”

However, she noted that she cannot publicly endorse Larsen because she is a member of the Green Party of B.C.’s provincial council. “But as a friend, I support Dana, and Marc feels the same way,” she said.

Join the semi-communists, may as well be with the Tory-Liberals.
Stalinism or Monarchism. Slavery for all.

That will put the final nail in his leadership aspiration coffin.

Yeah, just what you want. A prison inmate/incoherent pothead drug pusher backing your campaign. Why are we still talking about this guy? Aren't his 15 minutes up already?
