Runner-up Kevin Falcon calls on B.C. Liberals to unite behind new leader Christy Clark

    1 of 1 2 of 1

B.C. Liberal leadership candidate Kevin Falcon issued the following statement this evening (February 26):

Today has been a historic moment for British Columbia. The election of our 35th Premier has been an incredible experience, as six great candidates have crisscrossed this Province, meeting people from every walk of life and corner of BC, and re-energizing our free enterprise coalition.

I congratulate all of the candidates on running an excellent campaign, and look forward to working with them in the months and years to come. I encourage all BC Liberals to unite behind Premier Christy Clark and support her as we lead this Province and build momentum and support for the next election.

I would like to thank the thousands of people who supported me throughout this race, and my wife Jessica, my daughter Josephine, my family, and my campaign team for their support and encouragement. We have worked hard, and we will continue to work hard for the people of BC, the BC Liberal Party, and our coalition.

Kevin, your about as liberal as a horse turd on a pile of cow dung. You are about as far away from being a liberal as one can get.
