The B.C. Liberals have released the results of the third count of the leadership vote on a constituency-by-constuency basis.

It shows that the winner, Christy Clark, racked up more than 60 percent of the points in 14 of the province's 85 constituencies.

The second-place finisher, Kevin Falcon, won more than 60 percent of the points in nine constituencies.

Here are where Clark's best percentages came from: Vancouver-Fraserview (70.1 percent), Alberni-Pacific Rim (68.8 percent), North Coast (68.3 percent), Saanich South (67 percent), New Westminster (65.2 percent), Surrey-Newton (65 percent), Boundary-Similkameen (64.7 percent), Vancouver-Kensington (64.6 percent), North Island (63.9 percent), Vancouver-Kingsway (63.4 percent), Victoria-Swan Lake (61 percent), Kootenay West (60.3 percent), Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows (60.2 percent), Skeena (60.1 percent).

Clark also demonstrated strength in Burnaby, winning all four constituencies handily, as well as in Delta where she easily won both contests, and on Vancouver Island outside of Victoria-Beacon Hill and Oak Bay-Gordon Head. She also took five Surrey constituencies.

Falcon's best percentages came in the following constituencies: Columbia River-Revelstoke (75.3 percent), Shuswap (70.2 percent), Chilliwack (66.2 percent), Surrey-Cloverdale (63.5 percent), Prince George-Valemont (63.5 percent), Peace River North (63 percent), Prince George-Mackenzie (62.6 percent), Vancouver-Quilchena (62.3 percent), West Vancouver-Capilano (61.3 percent).

Christy won the BC Liberal leadership in ridings that the BC Liberals are unlikely to win in a general election. Air head this is politics not a beauty contest or Grey Cup final. If you don't like Christy - then you want her to win.

She was brought in to back up Falcon - both Campbell clones, but Christy is from Vancouver - and developers are backing her. The NDP needs to contact Joy McPhail immediately and set her against Christy in a by-election that Campbell must call for his seat.

The BC Conservatives if they are serious will run former Newfoundland and Labrador Premier and current BC resident Brian Peckford in that by-election----while the BC First Party runs Delaney and Vander Zalm gets set to lead that party.

Christy - at least if you based it on the media spin is Vander Zalm reincarnate - so she makes him relevant. If Christy loses the by-election well what do you think of those headlines?

Christy won the battle - but she is light years from winning the war. Imagine if you'er Falcon, Abbott, Coleman and others having to call her boss for $120,000 K a year. Where should I place by testicles your highness?

For me/quiet man with the biggest gun - this is like Christmas!

What happens if Christ looses the bi election and does not get a seat in the legislature?

Then the Deputy Premier becomes the most important BC Liberal.

Plot thickens baby - like a good stew - the plot thickens.

not a chance she will lose a bye election, no one is going to vote for the NDPee on their pant leg after their disgrace full assassination of the one whose name they shall not speak (KARUL JAYMES) right on in Vancity. Can the left fall any farther than they have, just watch the wheels fall of the NDPee on their pant legs ferry boat to hell and all the Ratz running for their pensions.

@Virgil miner - you remind me of all the miners that I know. All whiners who can spew nasty swill until the cows come home but not a thoughtful or positive contribution amongst them. Reading your comments makes me want to take out toilet paper and clean up the oily greasy mess.

The obstacle that lay between Christy and any type of mandate for running the province are daunting. There has to be some serious splits somewhere in this coalition. No one who is paying attention could believe otherwise.

No seat in the BC Legislature. Higher than average liklihood of a federal election over the same period of time. HST Referendum, Teachers wage demands. It is too much and I cannot see that Christy has what it takes to manage this.
