Video: David Eby leads NDP sing-along of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer"

If you didn't watch or attend the NDP leadership assembly on Sunday (April 17), you probably missed seeing David Eby take to the stage.

He was introduced as the NDP candidate who'll be running against Premier Christy Clark in the Vancouver-Point Grey by-election.

Eby led the NDP crowd in a sing-along of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer".

Depending on your point of view, it was either awesome or something akin to a Howard Dean moment.

In any case, it's a good thing this by-election won't be decided at a karaoke bar.

The Pt Grey constituency has a chance to elect a real star with great musical talents, and most of all the best political smarts. Go David Go!

LOL, a perfect description of David's chances in Vancouver-Point Grey. Not a very promising start.

David Eby singing Livin' on a Prayer. How ironic.

It's positive and fresh that a politican can be so "free", that he doesn't take himself too seriously. Lighten up while you still can because as a province, a country, a planet we are going to need some different approaches to the issues coming at us.
