Conservative candidate Wai Young has been elected in Vancouver South.

The riding was held by Liberal Ujjal Dosanjh, a former NDP premier.

Young has 42.2 percent of the vote with 122 of 207 polls reporting.

Dosanjh has 33.8 percent.

The NDP's Meena Wong is third with 20.6 percent.
