Want to attract attention? It's simple—just take off your pants

When I saw SlutWalk Vancouver organizer Katie Raso take off her pants today, I figured that she knows a few things about marketing.

According to Indian blogger Kabadi Walla, the most efficient way to get someone's attention in less than 10 seconds is to remove your trousers.

"Desperate advertisers are using the aforementioned formulae in order to attract audience," Walla writes.

Check out the video below and notice how Raso employed this tactic to drive her message home.

Charlie, way to completely devalue a strong and brilliant speech by being glib and cynical. You make it seem as though "marketing" an important and necessary cultural thing is in some way a bad thing.

Come off it.. Tweak, Katie NEEDED to make a huge statement to drive her point home, and what she did accomplished just that.

Even "sicklove" (above) managed to demonstrate that. her point was that whether a woman is wearing unappealing sweatpants or a pleather mini skirt, she is the SAME person. Like she said, the skirt and 4" heels do nothing except make her 4" taller.
Me? Well I can handle the skirt pretty well, but I just might break an ankle on those 4' stilettos, and,sadly, without them the effect just isn't the same...

Charlie in no way devalued Katie's speech; rather he has pointed out how brilliantly and effectively she came across. Nice Job!
