Versace for H&M designer collaboration in stores this fall

How much do you love fashion? Would you be willing to skip a day of school or work for it? Would you camp overnight in the snow for it?

I remember when the Lanvin for H&M collection landed in stores last winter. Since designer collaborations are only available in the Lower Mainland at the Swedish retailer's Pacific Centre flagship store (609 Granville Street), a handful of Lanvin-loving fashionistas camped outside on the damp Granville Street sidewalk the night before the launch—might I add that it was snowing outside.

Prepare to see something similar when H&M launches its collaboration with Versace on November 19. The collection designed by Gianni Versace's sister, Donatella Versace, will include 40 pieces for women and 20 pieces for men, as well as shoes and accessories.

In a video message created specifically to announce the collaboration, Donatella says that as a designer, she always looks to the future; however, this collection will look back on iconic designs from Versace's past.

A sneak peak at some of the designs shown in the video, and female shoppers can look forward to glamorous dresses and skirts made from ultra-luxe materials, such as gold-studded black leather. For men, expect to see flashy, colourful suits and equally-as-vibrant brogues.

How excited are you to see the Versace for H&M collaboration? Will you be camping outside overnight?
