Here comes Stephen Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin (and Snowy): trailer released

      Yes, true believers, Stephen Spielberg is bringing the legendary Tintin to the big screen. Critics are already noting the Indiana Jones feel of the action-packed trailer.

      Vocal talent includes Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) as Tintin, Andy Serkis (Gollum of Lord of the Rings) as Captain Haddock, Simon Pegg as Inspector Thompson, and Daniel Craig as Red Rackham (and also Ivanovich Sakharine).

      And of course, there's always Tintin's ever-faithful canine companion, Snowy. (Scooby Doo wasn't the only crime-fighting dog, you know.)

      The comic first appeared in 1930, created by Belgian artist Hergé (Georges Remi, 1907-1983).

      The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will be released on December 21.
