Media Democracy Days at the Pacific Cinémathèque

Get ready for a weekend of free events to help you get over any corporate-media addiction. On Friday evening (November 11), the founder of the Media Education Forum, Sut Jhally, will speak at the Pacific Cinémathèque following a screening of War Made Easy. On Saturday (November 12) afternoon, various panel discussions on the media will take place at the Vancouver Public Library central branch. And on Sunday (November 13) afternoon, SFU Woodward’s will host media-production workshops and dialogues. Seating is on a first-come basis; preregistration information is available at the Media Democracy Day website.
