The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the B.C. Children’s Hospital Mother’s Day Campaign

When dining out on Mother's Day weekend (May 12 and 13), consider supporting B.C. children in need. The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors this year’s B.C. Children’s Hospital Mother’s Day Campaign, a two-day fundraising event in which participating restaurants donate a portion of sales to help ill or injured kids.

Vancouver restaurants participating in the 2012 B.C. Children's Hospital Mother's Day Campaign include Herons West Coast Kitchen + Bar at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, Prestons Restaurant (Vancouver and Chilliwack locations), Coal Harbour's P2b Bistro, Crosstown brunch hotspot Café Medina, the OPUS Hotel's pop-up restaurant Cento Notti, multiple Golden Plates 2012 winner Hawksworth Restaurant, and Kitsilano's Oakwood Canadian Bistro.

Outside of Vancouver, the following restaurants will be donating proceeds: Big Ridge Brewing Company in Surrey, Burnaby's EBO Restaurant and Bar, Globe @ YVR Restaurant located at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport, the Southern Okanagan's Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek Winery, and Whistler's The Brewhouse.
