Chuck Berry Meets John Lennon (and Yoko Ono)

After John Burns's recent post of a video featuring a duet between David Bowie and Marianne Faithfull, I discovered another interesting 1970s collaboration: John Lennon rocking out with Chuck Berry on The Mike Douglas Show in 1972. Yoko Ono's there, too, proving that she doesn't quite grasp the significance of the meeting of two rock 'n' roll titans by letting loose with some bloodcurling primal screams during "Memphis". It looks like someone had the smarts to turn her microphone off during "Johnny B. Goode".

But the fun doesn't end there. The musicians hang around for the rest of the show to learn about macrobiotic cooking and biofeedback. I did mention this was 1972, didn't I?
